Elected Co-President of The Creative Coalition
Delany joins
Tim Daly at Helm of Public Advocacy Organization of the
Arts and Entertainment Communities
NEW YORK (August 24, 2009)
– Actress Dana Delany has joined Tim Daly as
co-president of The Creative Coalition. Delany will lead
the Coalition in its mission to educate and mobilize the
arts and entertainment communities to create positive
change in public policy.

as co-president of The Creative Coalition,” said Robin
Bronk, executive director of The Creative Coalition.
“Dana is an activist who happens to be an actor. She
has a history of advocacy on Capitol Hill and has shown
her dedication to the future of arts in America over her
many years of involvement with the Coalition. We look
forward to her future leadership.”

Delany, an actress with a long and full
career who has taken on many challenging and
controversial roles, currently stars as Katherine
Mayfair on ABC’s “Desperate Housewives” and is
recognized for her Emmy Award winning role as Colleen
McMurphy on the classic TV series “China Beach.”
